ZURICH “Z-Mart” Mexican Auto Insurance Details:

Z-Mart - Extended Coverage: The Z-Mart Mexico Insurance Package includes a special package of features that increase the amount that will be paid in a claim on your behalf or which improve upon the coverage provided in the Standard policy form. The additional coverage provided by the Z-Mart upgrade is as follows:

PHYSICAL DAMAGE

• Property Damage: Coverage for collision, overturning, glass breakage, and is subject to the fixed deductible of $500.
  
  
• Uninsured Motorist: If you are involved in an accident in which an uninsured third party is at fault as determined by the legal authorities, and you sustain damage to your vehicle, we will pay for damages to your vehicle and waive your deductible.
  
  
• Total Theft & Partial Theft: Theft of parts and accessories that are permanently attached to the insured vehicle, excluding video and sound reproducing equipment, personal property, or objects contained in the vehicle. This coverage is subject to the your selected deductible option for total theft.
  
  
• Vandalism: This policy provides coverage for vandalism and is subject to the same deductible as the theft coverage.
  
  
• Repair Vehicle in US: This is available on each policy and is subject to the scheduled rate for cost of repair.
  
  
• US Labor Rate: Unlike traditional Mexico insurance policies that only pay out according to the current Mexico labor rate, this policy will pay a much higher scheduled labor rate for cost of repair.
  

LIABILITY

• Civil Liability: This coverage protects you in the event you cause bodily injury or property damage to third parties. Coverage is $100,000 USD combined single limit for damages you cause to others. This does not provide coverage for passengers of the insured vehicle.
  

MEDICAL

• Medical Expense For Occupants: This policy will pay medical expenses, at $2,000 USD per person / $25,000 USD per accident, of the driver and occupants of the vehicle in Mexico for injuries sustained in a covered accident. Medical payments coverage is excluded on motorcycle policies.
  

ASSISTANCE

• Bond and Legal Assistance: This policy will pay up to $ 20,000 USD to assist you in the event you need to deal with authorities following a covered cause of loss.

  ATMSafe ® Robbery Benefit provides coverage in the event that the beneficiary is robbed while withdrawing funds from an ATM when traveling to, while in or when returning from Mexico. The ATMSafe ® Robbery Benefit is offered with MexVisit ® and coverage is concurrent with insurance commencing on the policy's effective date and terminating on policy's expiration date.
